About / Kee

We knew dealerships before we marketed them.

From 1993 the work was dealer management systems, sales process, F&I and retention. Stock, invoicing, finance, the operational side of the business. Kee Creative opened in 2008, and every brief since has started with how your dealership runs.

Car buyers are spoiled for choice and short on attention. The dealerships they remember gave them something worth looking at. A photo that made them stop. A video watched to the end. An email they were glad to open. That’s the work we make for UK dealers and dealer groups.

Whether you run one dealership or twenty, the work starts the same way: with your business, your customers and what you want them to do next. Every dealership is different, and the work should be too.

Six shifts, and what each taught us.

The way people buy a car keeps changing, and each shift rewards the dealers who keep their marketing moving with it. The work before the marketing was on the dealer systems themselves, from 1993. Here are the shifts we have worked through, and what each one taught us about getting noticed.

Print to digital

Dealer marketing moved off the page and onto the screen. The groups that moved early set the pace for years.

Email

Dealer email taught us what earns attention in an inbox and what gets deleted. What worked then still decides whether your customers open one or ignore it.

Dealer websites

The website became the showroom window. We built sites that turned lookers into walk-ins, and learned that a customer journey is designed, not assumed.

Social

The conversation moved again, onto feeds and into communities. Content stopped being campaigns and started being presence.

Selling online

The whole industry went online in a matter of weeks. Click and collect, distance selling, video walkarounds. The groups that adapted fastest kept selling.

AI

The newest shift. More buyers now start with an AI answer or a search before they ever call a dealer. We help your group show up there.

"The platforms keep changing. The question underneath them doesn’t. Why should this buyer choose this dealership? That is what I have been working on since 1993." Michele McKee, Founder, Kee

How we work.

You brief us on one piece of work, we price it clearly in a proposal, and we get on with it. The work is yours to keep.

Every dealership is different. Start with one piece of work, and we’ll earn the next.

Not sure where to start? Tell us about the dealership and what you’re trying to improve. We’ll tell you where we’d start.
