Dealer marketing / Kee / Winchester

When buyers ask AI which dealer to use, does your name show up?

Every used car, every service, every MOT starts with someone looking. Where they look has changed again, and we make sure your group is one of the names that comes back.

See what AI says about you

Three things back in writing, within one working day: what the AI tools say about your group, where your name stops coming up, and who is showing up in your place.

We run the check and email you the results when it’s done. We only use your details for that. Never shared, never sold. What the check covers · Privacy

Buyers still search. Now they ask as well.

Ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot which dealer to use and it names two or three. Not a long list. If your name isn’t in it, nothing tells you. Analytics only counts the people who arrived, not the ones sent somewhere else. Getting on that list is fixable. The check shows you where you stand today.

  • What AI says about youWe ask the tools your buyers use what they say about your group, and send you the answers word for word.
  • Where your name stops coming upThe points where your group drops out, or stops saying the same thing, in the places buyers and assistants rely on.
  • Who gets named insteadThe dealers coming back where you expected your own name to be.

Where the count stands today. One dealership at a time, and climbing.

What we do

From the first question to their next car.

Six stages of the same journey. Most groups start with one or two.

  1. 1. Find
  2. 2. Consider
  3. 3. Engage
  4. 4. Experience
  5. 5. Convert
  6. 6. Return

Search, AI visibility and local

Make sure your group gets found.

More buyers ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot before they contact a dealer. Ranking well still matters. So does being understood well enough to get named. We work on both, across search, AI answers and your local listings.

  • Google Business Profile
  • AI search visibility
  • Local search and content
  • Reporting you can read

Email and lifecycle marketing

Reach the buyers you already have.

Your next customer is usually already in the DMS. We build the programme around giving them a reason to come back, from first enquiry through service reminders to the next car, so you’re there when they’re ready to change.

  • Service and MOT reminders
  • New model and stock campaigns
  • Event invitations
  • Newsletters under your name

Social content and storytelling

Be someone they already know.

People buy from dealers they feel they’ve already met. We make your people, your knowledge and your dealerships worth following before anyone needs a car.

  • Content from your forecourts
  • Your people on camera
  • Always-on posting
  • Comments and replies

Creative, motion and brand

Look like the group you are.

People decide how they feel about your group before they read a word. We make the photography, film and motion that earns the second look, and the brand work that holds it together, on screen, in the showroom and in print.

  • Photography and film
  • Motion and animation
  • Showroom, print and events
  • Brand and guidelines

Websites, landing pages and events

Turn the click into a visit.

Your website is where every campaign lands, so it decides what the rest of the spend was worth. We build the site, the landing pages and the sign-up journeys behind them, so your launch days and sales events fill up.

  • Dealer websites
  • Campaign landing pages
  • Event and launch journeys
  • Forms people finish

Data, reputation and retention

Plan the next car, not just this one.

Your own records know your buyers better than any list you could buy. We join them up, keep the reviews answered and make the next car something you can plan for.

  • Joined-up records
  • Review replies
  • Retention campaigns
  • Renewal and change timing

Each one earns its place on its own. Run together they keep the same buyer with you from the first question to the next car, and they hold on to the ones you’ve already won.

Questions we get asked

What is AI search optimisation for a car dealership?

It is the work that decides whether an assistant names your dealership when a buyer asks it who to use. ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and Google’s AI answers build a reply rather than a list of links, and only a handful of dealers get named in it. Getting your group into that reply is the job.

How does a dealership end up being named in ChatGPT, Gemini or Google’s AI answers?

There is no single switch to flick. These systems build an answer out of what they can find about your group and how much of it agrees. The clearer and more consistent that picture is, the more often your name comes back. That is the work we do.

If we already rank well on Google, do we still need AI search optimisation?

Yes. Ranking well and being recommended are related, but they are not the same job. A buyer who types gets ten links and picks one. A buyer who asks gets two or three names, with a reason attached to each. Top of the page is worth having and you’ve earned it. Being one of those names is a separate job, and your usual reporting only shows part of it.

What does the AI visibility check tell us?

Three things. What the tools your buyers use say about your group, sent to you word for word. Where your name stops coming up. And who is showing up in your place. A written piece of work rather than a dashboard, with nothing to log into.

Can anyone guarantee our dealership will show up in AI answers?

No. No agency can guarantee a dealership appears in an AI answer. What you get is the work and the evidence. We improve the things that decide whether an assistant names you, then show you what changed and what it moved, in your own listings and in the answers themselves.

We’re tied into our current website provider. Can you still help?

Yes. Email, search visibility, social content, landing pages, campaign creative and data all sit outside your website provider. So does a good deal of what decides whether you turn up in an AI answer. We work with what you’ve got and start where the opportunity is.

Can you run our email and lifecycle campaigns?

Yes. Most of what you need is already sitting in your DMS: who bought what, when they last came in, and what they’re likely to be ready for next. From there it is service reminders, tyre and seasonal checks, new model announcements, stock that suits the car they already own, event invitations and a newsletter. We write, design and build the lot, with motion and photography so people look forward to it landing. Built for dealers, going out under your name, to people who already chose you once.

Can you make the photography and motion, or do we need a separate crew?

You don’t need one. Stills, motion and film, made for wherever they run: the website, email, social, the screens in the showroom and print. Motion on your used stock, so the car moves rather than sits there. Infographics and presentations for the board or the manufacturer. Billboards and pop-up stands for launch days and events. The brand work sits with it, so a buyer meeting you on Instagram and a buyer sat in aftersales on a Saturday morning see the same group.

How long has Kee worked in automotive retail?

Since 1993. That work was inside dealerships, on dealer management systems, sales process, F&I and retention. Kee Creative was established in 2008 and has worked with UK dealer groups and independent dealers ever since. The trade knowledge came first and the marketing came after, which is why every brief starts with how your dealership runs.

How do we get started?

Kee / Inside the trade since 1993

Every brief starts with how your dealership runs.

We knew dealerships before we became their marketing agency. Dealer management systems, sales process, F&I, retention. That was the work from 1993, and Kee opened its doors in 2008.

Since then buyers have moved from print to websites, to search, to social, and now to asking an AI. We built through every one of those shifts for dealers. The technology keeps changing. The question underneath it never has. Why should this buyer choose your dealership?

  1. Print to digital
  2. Email
  3. Dealer websites
  4. Social
  5. Selling online
  6. AI search
